Real GDP increased 3.9 percent after increasing 0.6 percent in the first quarter of 2015. The second-quarter increase reflected a notable contribution from consumer spending.
U.S. International Services: Trade in Services in 2014 and Services Supplied Through Affiliates in 2013
In 2014, the U.S. surplus on the trade in services was $233.1 billion. In 2013, services supplied to foreign markets by the foreign affiliates of U.S. multinationals enterprises exceeded services supplied to U.S. markets by the U.S. affiliates of foreign multinational enterprises.
